Robert J Derendal beloved husband of the late Judy Nee: Schneider; loving father of Michael, Jeffrey and Cheri (Tom) Garza; grandfather of Amanda; fond brother of William (Cindy), Donald (Barb) and the late James; son of the late Frank and Lucille; uncle of many nieces and nephews; Fiancé of Deborah Stewart. Robert was a teacher for over forty years and had the pleasure of teaching at Gordon Tech High School in Chicago. He was also a member of the St. George Alumni Association which was once in Evanston. Memorial mass Saturday 11:00 am at DePaul College Prep in the St. Joseph the Worker Chapel, 3633 N California, Chicago, Il.
