Olinka M Israel

Olinka Mytsiura Israel of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, in the early afternoon at home surrounded by friends and family.

She was born Olga Volodymyrovna Mytsiura on October 24, 1985, in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine to Volodymyr Mytsiura and Olena Fedorkova.

Olinka graduated with a master's in architecture in 2008 and immigrated to the United States in 2009 where she worked as a nanny and yoga instructor. Yoga was a deep passion of Olinka’s and it brought her much comfort. She was also passionate about nature and our duty to protect the earth. Olinka will be remembered for her kindness, her compassion, and her independence.

She is survived by her parents, spouse of 14 years, JB, and daughter, Eleanor.

A memorial service will be held on May 31st at 2pm at Christ Lutheran Church, located at 3253 W Wilson Ave, Chicago, IL 60625.
