Miriam Selva passed away Tuesday February 12, 2019, beloved wife of Rolando; loving and dedicated mother of Gustavo(mary) and Maribel (jose); doting grandmother of Avigdor(susie) and Harrison; great grandmother of Simon, aunt to multiple nieces and nephews has joined her parents Hilario and Rafaela Martell, siblings Arnold, Thelma, Wilfredo and Naomi in heaven.

Miriam was born in Honduras but made her life and home in Chicago since 1965. Her accomplishments were many, always keeping her family, her faith in God and the love of this country strong. She will always be remembered as being "the rock foundation" of the family who "blazed a huge trail" many followed from Honduras to Chicago. God rest her in eternal peace.

Funeral service will be held at the chapel of Montrose Cemetery at 5400 North Pulaski on Monday February 18th at 11am. Internment will be private.
