Mariann "Maggie" Gibbs beloved daughter of Mary Jane and the late William T; loving sister of Thomas (Sheila), Dr. Nancy, Barbara (Joseph) Violante; treasured aunt of Theresa (Mark) Rhea, Martha, Laura, Sara, Nora Violante, William (Kate),Patrick (Sarah), Ted (Meghan)Gibbs and Carolyn (Chris) Broughton;Great aunt of many; dearest friend, teacher and mentor to many. Maggie fought a courageous battle with cancer for ten years and still continued to pursue her love of rowing, biking and swimming. She graduated from Boston College and the University of Chicago to pursue a 30 year career in social work.
