Lore Ensdorf (nee Hoely) 93, born in Mannheim Germany. Lore experienced a German childhood and an American life as the wife of Herbert, whom she met in Germany during the aftermath of WWII and later married in Chicago in 1948. Loving mother of Tina (James) Piper, Marion (Dan) Meyer, Michael (Kathy Pilat). Grandmother of Julie (Doug) Kitchin, Adam, Nicole (Steve) Anenen, and Michael. Great Grandmother of Lydia, Elise, Connor and Cole. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews, both in America and Germany. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Lore was an excellent cook, baker and gardener who enjoyed her participation in the North Center Neighborhood Garden Walk for many years. Lore was preceded in death by her husband Herbert of 66 years, parents and her two brothers, Manfred and Hubert.
