John D. Dapkus

November 20, 1965-June 30, 2026

John Dapkus, age 60, of Westville, IN passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026. John was a competitive cyclist, a lover of all animals, especially cats, and he took pride in his career as a painter extraordinaire. John loved living on a small horse farm in Indiana with his wife, Andrea, where they enjoyed their many animals, and the abundance of nature and serenity together.

Beloved husband of 32 years to Andrea (Shroder), dear brother to Judy Mullen, Nancy Nelson, James, Dan, David, and John, Jr., fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Thomas.
