Jean Fletcher
She was born in Chicago to an Irish father and a Brazilian mother on May 23rd 1925, and passed on June 25th 2026.She was at the march on Washington in 1963. Jean was involved in the civil rights movement. She had a passion for social justice, nurtured by the Catholic Church. She was also a strong advocate for workers' rights, environmental justice and many other causes. She ran a dancing school, along with her sister, teaching ballet, tap and ballroom.
She is survived by her cousins and many many friends
Memorial mass will be held on July 17th 11:00 am at St. Benedict Church
