James R. Petrozzini,born on December 26,1930,passed away on Sunday,August 17,2014 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by his parents Harry (Anna) Petrozzini and brother Joseph, he is survived by his sisters, Joan Bradford and Judith Petrozzini of Princeton, wife Camelia and his three loving children,James (Stephanie) of Chicago, Michael (Amanda) of Portland,Maine, and Amy (Ron Schiner) of Wisconsin.Jim is also survived by two previous wives who remain valued friends, Anje Shein and Joy Frith as well as five cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Princeton, NJ, Jim attended Princeton High School, played football and attained the rank of Eagle as a Boy Scout. He graduated from Trenton State University with a degree in teaching. Jim moved to Chicago in the early 1960's where he began a long and successful career as a real estate developer. Jim founded Lincoln Park Property Management and, as president, built the company into, what it is now, one of the largest residential development companies on the North Side. Jim was an accomplished piano player and loved playing to the crowd. He made a number of records in the early days of rock and roll under the stage name Jimmy Lane. An avid collector, Jim had a keen appreciation for fine art and antique cars, a passion he kept throughout his life.
