Ellen Danoio Chavez 89, born Ellen Kathleen Danoio on September 6th,1923 beloved daughter of the late Frank and Kate Danoio (DeNoia), devoted wife of the late Gonzalo Chavez, beloved sister of the late Francis (Carmen) Onesti and the late Lillian (Vic) Fera, beloved mother of the late Linda (David) Buck, Kathleen Kareem, the late Laura (Robert) Morris, Francis Strulovitch, and the late Basil Chavez. Beloved Grandmother of Dominica (David) Glonek, Marian Enstrom, Rhonda(Mark) Lackie, Kathleen Enstrom, Laith (Keli) Kareem, Dawn( Mike) Martin, Ronald (Lena) Enstrom, Kimberly (Curt Kratowicz) Enstrom, Yasmine Kareem, Errol (Meghan Kruger) Kareem, Branwen Stroll, Daniella Strulovitch and Great Grandmother of Devin Kareem, Jackie Kareem, Amanda Enstrom, Ethan Kareem, Colin Kareem, Evangeline Kareem, and Naila Kareem. Ellen loved life, God & Jesus Christ, laughter, a good joke, dancing, music, singing, crafts, crosswords, conversation, people, animals, nature, lighthouses, and most of all family including her many nieces, nephews, and In-laws. God took Ellen to be reborn in Heaven on August 6th to be whole again with him and be surrounded by all of the loved ones that preceded her. She will be missed by so many family and friends, we will celebrate her life with a wake at 9am and funeral service following at 12 Noon on August 12th at Grein Funeral Directors 2114 W. Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618 and after services she will be interred at Glen Oak Cemetery 4301 W. Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
