Donnabela B. Scott Obituary

Born on February 18, 1966, Donna passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and friends, after a long illness. She is survived by her sister Adoloisa (Dolly), niece Belen, brother-in-law Mo, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis, mother Corazon and father Conrado.
Born in Quezon City, Philippines, Donna moved with her family to the United Stated in 1975 and settled in Chicago. She attended St. Andrew's and St. Benedict's for grammar school, Lane Technical High School and graduated with degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Political Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She worked exclusively in Litigation after receiving her paralegal certification from Roosevelt University. She retired after working at McAndrews, Held and Malloy for over 20 years.
Donna was an accomplished musician and had been playing the piano since she was 9 years old. She also played the clarinet all through high school. She was an avid basketball fan and the Warriors and the Bulls were her favorite. She never missed a game. She loved dogs and fostered many rescue dogs over the years. She had a kind and generous spirit and supported many charitable organizations. Her heart, smile and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
