November 30, 1940 – June 2, 2024

Born November 30, 1940, Cora passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, after a long illness in the comfort of her home. She is survived by her husband Conrado, daughters, Donnabela and Adoloisa, granddaughter, Belen and son-in-law, Mohammed, preceded in death by her son-in-law Curtis Scott.

Third from the eldest of nine, she is survived by one sister, Ofelia Osias and three brothers, Lazaro Villegas, Lauro Villegas, and Isidoro Villegas, in addition to sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lauro and Antonina Villegas, brother Andrew Villegas, sisters Natividad Antonio, Rhodora Phillips and Zoraida Del Pilar.

Born in Batangas, Philippines, Cora came with her family to the United States in 1975 and settled in Chicago. She had a degree in accounting and has worked extensively in banking and retail. She retired from the corporate offices of Montgomery Wards. She was an accomplished seamstress, great cook and a devout Catholic. Memorial donations may be made to St. Benedict's Church.
