In loving memory of Carol Rose Wilkins, 84 yrs. old, passed away on May 24,2024. Carol was born on June 12, 1939 in Chicago to Frances Lorenzen and Walter Ahern.

Carol was a beloved friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and Christmas Cookies.

Carol graduated near the top of her class with a B.S. from Roosevelt University where she also continued graduate studies in psychology, interning at Manteno State Hospital. She went on to pursue a career in psychology, working for 35 years for the Court Clinic of Chief Judges Office in the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Beyond her professional life she was passionate about her cats and running with the Oak Park Runners Club, winning many awards.

A small celebration of her life will be held at Grein Funeral Directors, 2114 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago. In Lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to her charity of choice, Doctors Without Borders, in her honor.

Carol will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
